On-the-ground explorations of community resilience

As part of the Hopeful Towns project, we have been working with community leaders and local decision-makers in two pilot areas – Port Talbot in South Wales and the Gravesend/Northfleet urban area in Kent. Through exploring underlying challenges and potential solutions in these places, we hope to better understand the policy context in different types of town.

Through talking to those who really know the challenges and opportunities facing their towns, we hope to understand the national policies and local initiatives needed to build a sustainable sense of belonging, hope and resilience in our communities.

If you'd like to work with us on exploring resilience in your town, drop us a line at towns@hopenothate.org.uk.
